if you see question marks in the title above
If you see question marks in the title above, it means that your computer or web browser does not support East Asian characters. Microsoft provides instructions on how to enable East Asian language support in Windows XP. Windows Vista, Mac OS X, and GNOME and KDE on Linux comes with East Asian language support already enabled.
If you don't care to install East Asian language support on your computer, but you are curious to know what the question marks really should look like, a screenshot appears below.

It is just my Chinese name, han2 kang1 li2 in Mandarin, hon4 hong1 lei4 in Cantonese.

How do those translate to Kendrick Hang?
That is odd that computers would have to be turned on to support characters...
Hang is a Vietnamese romanization of han2 or hong4. As for my first name, there isn't really a correlation between my English one and my Chinese one, other than they both have a K sound in them :) I just have an legal English name and a traditional Chinese name.
I don't see your name in hanzi at all, did you remove it?
If one were to interpret your name in Japanese, the literal meaning is something like "Korean peace" :D. The first character is only used when referring to Korea, and the second is the "peace" or "ease" that makes up the word, 健康, "health".
Unfortunately, I've never seen the third character. What does it mean?
BTW, did you get my mail last weekend? My damn hosting service has been screwing with my account, and the mail router was down for a couple days.
You are right Rusty, the first character, my surname, is the literal character for Korea. My surname is the name of my ancestors' ancient tribe. Spot on with the second character: peaceful, quiet; happy, healthy. The third character can be a surname, can mean numerous, or mean black.
You should see my name in hanzi at the top of the page, right after "Kendrick Hang's Website", should be a set of parentheses with the three characters. They should appear in web browsers that support Unicode.
