I know we're in the tail end of February now, but I wanted to post a brief message regarding some upcoming Washington Photography Meetup events.

National Building Museum with the Montgomery County Photography Meetup
Saturday 24 February
The Montgomery County Photography Meetup group is having an afternoon photography outing this Saturday at the National Building Museum. They are meeting at 1:00 pm at the museum (401 F St., NW; Judiciary Square Station on Metro's Red Line). Details and RSVP info are on their National Building Museum event description.

Rescheduled Washington Photography February Meetup
Wednesday 28 February
Since the original February meetup (14 February) was cancelled due to Valentine's Day scheduling conflicts and inclement weather (ice and wind), the rescheduled February meetup will be next Wednesday 28 February. Same time and place: Barnes and Noble, Clarendon (Arlington), 7:30 pm.

Photography Assignment #4
Wednesday 28 February
The subject of this month's concrete assignment is "2007 Snowstorms and Icestorms." (This is another easy one, except if you were out of town like I was...) If you were out and about with your camera during the recent snowstorms and icestorms, post one to three of your favorite photos you would like to share with everyone.

Washington Photography March Meetup
Wednesday 14 March
We return to our regularly scheduled time, the second Wednesday of each month for our monthly meetup. The March meetup will be in DC, at Foster Brothers Coffee in Cleveland Park, 7:30 pm.
